EMH&T is seeking a Landscape Technician to join our Restoration team in Columbus, OH. This role works outdoors to restore streams, wetlands, and conservation sites under supervision, with on-the-job training available.

Ideal candidates enjoy outdoor work, demonstrate reliability, and work well with a crew. The position involves physical tasks, seasonal schedules, and potential travel within Central Ohio. EMH&T offers full-time benefits and a safety-first environment.

Qualifications

• No restoration experience required; training is provided.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check, and be subject to quarterly random drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Plant trees, shrubs, grasses, and other native plants.
• Assist with seeding and landscaping of restoration areas.
• Control invasive plants using herbicide applications.
• Install conservation and property signage.
• Use hand tools and small power equipment safely and effectively.
• Work with a crew to complete outdoor restoration projects.
• Help keep equipment and tools clean and maintained.
• Follow all company safety procedures and use required PPE.
• Most projects are located in Central Ohio.
• Crew members travel from office to job site and back the same day.
• Occasional overnight travel may be required; communicated in advance.
• Typical schedule is Monday through Friday.
• Start times around 7:00 a.m.; may vary with weather.

EMH&T is seeking a Landscape Technician to join our Restoration team based in Columbus, OH. The Technician works under the direction of the Restoration Team Crew Chief, working outdoors to help restore natural areas, including streams, wetlands, and conservation sites.If you have experience in landscaping, lawn care, tree planting, grounds maintenance, irrigation, or other outdoor work, we'd love to hear from you.We provide on-the-job training and the opportunity to build new skills while working with an experienced crew.

Physical Requirements

This position requires regular physical activity, including:

• Walking long distances on uneven ground, hills, stream banks, and natural terrain
• Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds while walking across uneven terrain
• Pulling landscaping materials and equipment up to 70 lbs
• Frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, twisting, and lifting
• Working outdoors in all weather conditions during all seasons
