Job summary

EMH&T is seeking a field crew member to plant trees and shrubs, conduct wetland seeding, and install conservation easement signs in central Ohio. The role involves travel with the team, occasional overnight stays, and adherence to safety protocols. The position requires the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and to lift up to 50 lbs.

On-the-job training is provided. Applicants must have reliable transportation and pass pre-employment drug and background checks.

Qualifications

• Must have a good driving record and reliable transportation to work.
• All candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check and are subject to quarterly random drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Plant trees, shrubs, and herbaceous material; apply herbicide for invasive species control.
• Perform wetland seeding and install conservation easement signs.
• Team travels to job site and returns the same day; occasional overnight travel may be required.
• Support and follow the company safety program and PPE rules.
• Operate hand tools and small power tools; lift up to 50 lbs.; work in all weather and rough terrain.
• Communicate effectively, work independently with direction, and collaborate with others.
