Armada Staffing Group in Columbus, OH seeks a dependable Landscaping & Snow Removal Technician with 2+ years of landscaping experience. You will operate commercial equipment and perform outdoor maintenance in varying weather, with a physically demanding workload.

Pay ranges from $18.00/hour for landscaping to $22.00/hour for snow removal, with a full-time seasonal schedule, weekly pay, and potential for winter work. Four 10-hour days are typical, and some Friday or Saturday work may occur.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of professional landscaping experience.
• Experience operating commercial zero-turn mowers and line trimmers.
• Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions.
• Ability to walk at a fast pace and perform physically demanding work throughout the day.
• Pass 10 Panel drug test and MVR.

Responsibilities

• Mow lawns, trim grass, edge, and blow off sidewalks and driveways.
• Trim bushes and hedges, weed, and assist with mulch installation.
• Perform seasonal cleanups and leaf removal.
• Operate commercial landscaping equipment and hand tools.
• Assist with shop and equipment maintenance as needed.
• During winter assignments, shovel snow and load deicing material into spreaders or hoppers.

Job description

Armada Staffing Group is currently seeking a dependable and motivated Landscaping & Snow Removal Technician to join our team in Columbus, OH. We are looking for an experienced individual with at least 2 years of professional landscaping experience who is comfortable operating commercial lawn equipment and performing outdoor maintenance in different weather conditions. The ideal candidate is hardworking, dependable, and able to keep up with a physically demanding outdoor work environment.

Pay Rate

• Landscaping: $18.00 per hour
• Snow and Ice Removal: $22.00 per hour when performing snow removal

Shift/Hours

• Monday–Thursday, 7:15 AM–5:15 PM
• Typically four 10-hour days per week
• Schedule may change due to weather and daylight.
• Fridays may be required when needed.
• Occasional Saturday work may be available but is not mandatory.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of professional landscaping-company experience
• Experience operating commercial zero-turn mowers and line trimmers
• Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions
• Ability to walk at a fast pace and perform physically demanding work throughout the day
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Must wear appropriate work pants and work shoes or boots
• Pass 10 Panel drug test
• Pass MVR
