Job summary

Gabriel Group in Omaha, NE seeks an Enhancement Technician to perform planting, edging, garden bed installation, and general landscape services with a team. You will help install top quality landscapes while meeting budget expectations.

Candidates should have 3+ years in landscaping, strong horticulture knowledge, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. The role offers seasonal hours, competitive hourly pay ($20.00–$24.75), paid holidays, uniforms, and benefits. Mon–Fri with some weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a landscaping crew member role.
• Strong base horticulture knowledge.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance and have full range of motion.
• Nebraska Pesticide Applicators License is a plus.
• Must possess a driver’s license, clean criminal record and pass a drug test.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.
• Must be comfortable working long shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Performs enhancement activities such as mulch applications, plantings, topsoil application, soil amendment, river rock install, and tree planting.
• Operates a variety of equipment and tools including but not limited to bed edgers, blowers, dump trailers, chainsaws, hedge trimmers.
• Conduct all work in a safe manner and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Operate a snowplow and truck during the snow removal season.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
