Young Life Rockbridge seeks a Landscape Supervisor to lead and manage the landscapes and related projects at the Rockbridge site. The role involves supervising a small maintenance team, coordinating with the landscape foreman, and ensuring high standards across turf, beds, trees, irrigation, and chemical inventories.

The position requires experience in landscape care, familiarity with plant species in the region, and the ability to oversee day-to-day maintenance functions and personnel.

Qualifications

• AA in horticulture is required.
• Three years landscape experience or five years in landscape care and design are highly valued.
• Knowledge of local plants and shrubs is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Turf care: mowing, aerating, fertilizing, seeding, installation.
• Planters and beds: annual flowers, shrubs, mulching, pruning, watering.
• Trees: felling, lopping, splitting; irrigation maintenance and scheduling.
• Equipment: operating, maintenance, inspection; chemicals: licensing, inventory.
• Hardscapes: road and sidewalk maintenance; administration: inventory and scheduling.
