Under the Grounds Dept Manager, you will oversee a team and perform pruning, mulching, planting, and general grounds maintenance while safely operating power equipment and ensuring a clean, professional site.

• Oversee a team of landscapers under the Grounds Dept Manager.
• Safe operation of power equipment and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Pruning, weeding, mulching, fertilizing, pesticide application.
• Planting trees, shrubs and flowers; trash collection; shrub and small tree pruning and trimming.

Seeking multiple Landscapers, including a Landscape Supervisor, temp-to-perm positions located downtown Charleston. Primary duties

• under the direction of the Grounds Dept Manager will oversee a team of Landscapers while performing pruning, weeding, mulching, fertilizing, pesticide application
• Safely operate power equipment: Tractor, Hedge trimmers, zero turn mowers, aerator, string trimmers, edger, blower, pressure washer, etc.
• Shrub and small tree pruning and trimming
• Pull and spray weeds
• Planting trees, shrubs and flowers
• Trash collection

Other duties

• Pressure washing
• Other grounds maintenance tasks as needed

Compensation is based on experience.
