Job summary

JML Landscape Management in Pittsburgh, PA seeks a Production Manager to lead field crews, supervise client jobs, and optimize labor and material costs. You will ensure safety and adherence to company policies while coordinating with Crew Leads and Account Managers to meet client expectations and maintain profitability.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' experience in commercial landscaping at crew foreman level or higher.
• Degree in horticulture, turf science, landscape technology or related field preferred but not required.
• Functional proficiency in speaking and understanding Spanish preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with safety best practices for crews, the public, and the environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise field staff and manage client jobs to ensure high quality work, meet client requirements and be profitable and efficient.
• Follow company policies and procedures to maintain operations and safety standards.
• Use knowledge of landscape maintenance, equipment, and labor & quality control to boost branch success.
• Supervise crew performance and control direct costs such as labor and materials.
• Monitor and maintain labor budgets and other direct/indirect costs to meet Income from Operations.
• Work with Crew Leads and Account Managers to meet client expectations.
• Ensure proper equipment and material is ready for upcoming jobs with Shop/Account Managers.
• Model behaviors on ethics, integrity and promoting company culture and safety.
• Schedule work in Aspire for efficient routing; review daily crew time in Aspire.
• Provide accurate paperwork flow between field and office.
