Hazeltine Nursery is seeking a knowledgeable Production Manager to oversee daily maintenance operations and plant production in Southwest Florida. You will lead field crews, optimize schedules, ensure plant quality, and drive efficiency.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years in horticulture or related fields, strong leadership, and a commitment to safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in maintenance production, horticulture, agriculture, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of plant care, irrigation systems, fertilization, and pest management.
• Proven leadership and team management experience.
• Ability to work in outdoor conditions in Southwest Florida climate.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage weekly and seasonal production schedules.
• Oversee plant production including irrigation, fertilization, pruning, pest control.
• Maintain quality standards and oversee safety.
• Lead crews to ensure productivity and safety.
• Train staff on plant care and equipment operation.
• Manage time and labor to stay within budget.
