Job summary

Inframark LLC is seeking an Assistant Groundskeeping Superintendent to oversee landscape operations, including planting, maintenance, and urban tree care, while supervising staff and ensuring compliance with ordinances. The role covers planning, training, safety, and reporting across project sites.

The position requires experience in public works or related fields, plus education/training in horticulture or landscape design, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Prefer 2 years of progressively responsible work experience in the Public Works Industry.
• Equivalent of one year of college or specialized vocational school training in forestry, horticulture, landscape design or related field.
• High School Diploma or GED is required. Must have a valid state driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff, train, assign and evaluate work.
• Maintain right-of-ways and designated areas, supervise contractors and mowing.
• Conduct tree hazard assessments and prune/remove dangerous trees.
• Assist planning, designing and implementing landscape construction.
• Supervise mosquito and litter control in compliance with regulations.
• Prepare payroll, work schedules, and reports.
• Attend safety classes and enforce safety policies.
