North Creek Nurseries Inc. is seeking a Landscape Manager to oversee all outdoor gardens and growing areas across two nursery sites totaling about 45 acres, including property at 415 N. Creek Road, Landenberg.

Travel between farms is required, with a full-time, 40-hour week and additional hours as needed. The role requires 3–5 years in nursery or grounds management, strong plant care knowledge, equipment operation, and effective English communication.

Qualifications

• Three to five years in nursery, horticulture, or grounds management.
• Experience supervising field crews.
• Ability to operate agricultural equipment and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of all gardens and outdoor growing areas across two sites (≈45 acres).
• Supervise gardens and grounds staff; create schedules and provide performance feedback.
• Ensure staff training on equipment and safety; document training.
• Maintain soil health, irrigation planning, and drainage as needed.
• Maintain appearance and functionality of outdoor areas and stormwater systems.
• Manage weed control, mowing, trimming, and general upkeep.
• Assist Vegetable Gardener as needed for labor, soil, and equipment.
• Oversee use and maintenance of grounds equipment; coordinate with Maintenance Director.
• Maintain inventory and vendor relationships for tools and supplies.
