Job summary

BrightView in Milwaukee is seeking a Landscaper I to provide landscape maintenance support for a range of properties. You will operate commercial landscaping equipment, plant and maintain beds, and perform basic maintenance while prioritizing safety and guest service.

The role requires physical endurance, ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and compliance with protective gear. Training and benefits are provided for full-time team members.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Enthusiastic and dependable.
• Ability to safely operate landscaping equipment.
• Certified on level 1 equipment (backpack blower, edger, trimmer, mower).
• Knowledge of basic horticultural maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Cut turf with power mowers and edge/trim equipment.
• Prune shrubs and small trees to shape growth.
• Plant and maintain flowerbeds.
• Operate edger and line trimmer along various areas.
• Pick up trash and blow leaves onto turf before mowing.
• Mulch leaves and organic matter.
• Weed by hand or with hoe.
• Perform basic maintenance on equipment.
• Report unsafe conditions to Crew Leader or Production Manager.
• Maintain polite demeanor with guests and customers.
