Job summary

BrightView Landscapes seeks a Landscaper I to support landscape maintenance across various properties. You will perform basic tasks under supervision, operate commercial landscaping equipment safely, and assist with plant material and landscape features.

Responsibilities include mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and debris cleanup. Requires 18+ years old, basic horticultural knowledge, and equipment certification. Outdoor work in varying conditions is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to operate and handle landscaping equipment safely.
• Certified on level 1 equipment (backpack blower, stick edger, string trimmer, walk-behind mower).
• Familiar with basic horticultural maintenance operations/practices.

Responsibilities

• Cut turf with power mowers; trim and edge; operate blower.
• Prune shrubs and low trees to maintain shape or remove damage.
• Plant and maintain flowerbeds.
• Operate edger and trimmer along sidewalks and beds.
• Report unsafe conditions to Crew Leader.
