Job summary

BrightView Landscapes seeks a Landscaper I to support landscape maintenance across industrial, commercial, and public sites. You will perform basic tasks under supervision, operate commercial landscaping equipment safely, and assist with plant materials and landscape features.

Role requires reliability, willingness to learn, and the ability to lift heavy materials. The position involves outdoor work in varying conditions with protective gear provided. Team environment emphasized.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Enthusiastic and dependable.
• Certified on level 1 equipment (backpack blower, stick edger, string trimmer, walk-behind mower).

Responsibilities

• Cut turf with power mowers and trim with edger/trimmer.
• Prune shrubs and low trees as needed to improve shape.
• Plant and maintain flowerbeds.
• Operate edger/line trimmer along walkways and beds.
• Report unsafe conditions to the Crew Leader.
• Maintain equipment and perform basic maintenance.
• Ensure a polite, friendly demeanor with guests and customers.
• Remove trash and debris from landscape.”
