Job summary

BrightView is seeking a Landscaper I to support landscape maintenance across diverse properties. You will perform basic tasks under supervision, operate commercial-grade equipment safely, and assist with plant material and landscape features.

You will cut turf, prune shrubs, plant beds, and maintain overall curb appeal while adhering to safety standards and guest service expectations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Enthusiastic and dependable.
• Ability to safely work with equipment like power saws and cutters.
• Certified on level 1 equipment (backpack blower, edger, string trimmer, walk-behind mower).
• Familiar with basic horticultural maintenance operations/practices.

Responsibilities

• Cut turf using power mowers and trim/edge with gas-powered tools.
• Prune shrubs and low trees to shape growth or remove damaged branches.
• Plant and maintain flower beds.
• Operate edger and line trimmer along sidewalks, beds, trees, and buildings.
• Report unsafe conditions to Crew Leader and maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance to extend equipment life.
