Job summary

BrightView Landscapes is seeking a Landscaper I to provide landscape maintenance support for a variety of properties. You will operate basic equipment under supervision and help maintain plant material and landscaping elements.

The role involves hands-on outdoor work, a focus on safety, and interaction with guests and customers. Snow-season work may be available as part-time, on-call, and as-needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Enthusiastic and dependable with a safety-first mindset.
• Ability to safely operate landscape equipment such as mowers, edgers, and blowers.
• Certified on level 1 equipment (backpack blower, edger, string trimmer, walk-behind mower).
• Familiar with basic horticultural maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Cut turf using power mowers and trim with edger/trimmer and blower.
• Prune shrubs and small trees to shape or remove damage.
• Plant and maintain flowerbeds.
• Operate edger and line trimmer along sidewalks and beds.
• Pick up trash and blow leaves onto turf before mowing.
• Mulch leaves and organic matter after mowing.
• Perform basic maintenance to extend equipment life.
• Report unsafe conditions to Crew Leader or Production Manager.
• Keep a polite, friendly demeanor with guests and customers.
