Environmental Management Inc. is seeking a dependable Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader to join our growing team in Plain City, OH.

This role leads maintenance crews, ensures quality workmanship, and upholds safety standards while delivering exceptional client service on outdoor projects. The ideal candidate has hands-on landscape maintenance experience, leadership ability, and comfort working in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

Qualifications

• Previous landscape maintenance experience required.
• Prior crew leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience operating commercial landscaping equipment.
• Ability to identify common weeds and maintain landscape beds.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead by example and motivate team members.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and in varying weather conditions as needed.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in an outdoor environment.

Responsabilités

• Lead and support landscape maintenance crews in daily operations.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to company quality standards.
• Operate commercial landscape maintenance equipment, including riding mowers, walk-behind mowers, string trimmers, backpack blowers, stick edgers, chainsaws, gas-powered hedge trimmers.
• Identify and remove weeds in landscape beds and planting areas.
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, planting, pruning, mulching, digging, and raking.
• Train and mentor crew members on proper work techniques and safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and clients when needed.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or repair needs.
• Ensure job sites are maintained in a clean, organized, and professional manner.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
