Job summary

Environmental Management Inc. is seeking a Landscape Construction Foreman/Forewoman in Plain City, OH to lead and supervise crews on residential and commercial projects.

You will oversee hardscapes, plantings, grading, drainage, and irrigation components, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and budget compliance. The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to motivate crew members in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years landscape construction experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory or crew leadership experience preferred.
• Experience reading landscape plans, layouts and construction drawings.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and train landscape construction crew members.
• Coordinate daily work activities with the Site Superintendent.
• Review project plans, specifications, and job requirements before beginning work.
• Organize labor, equipment, and materials to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure all work is completed according to project specifications, company standards, and quality expectations.
• Complete and submit required paperwork, including timesheets, daily reports, safety documentation, and equipment inspections.
• Maintain accurate records of labor, equipment usage, and production activities.
• Conduct daily job site safety meetings and enforce safety policies.
• Monitor crew adherence to OSHA regulations and company safety standards.
• Perform inspections to ensure quality control through all phases.
• Maintain and oversee equipment, including inspections and maintenance needs.
• Coordinate equipment repairs and replacement with management.
• Communicate project progress and delays to the Site Superintendent.
• Assist in identifying change orders and opportunities for improvements.
• Manage job site logistics and inventory.
