Reports to: Facilities Manager and Estate Manager

Overview:

The Landscape Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the comprehensive care and maintenance of all outdoor spaces, including trees, shrubs, plants, and lawns, on a large private estate. This role involves hands-on landscaping, equipment maintenance, and leadership of a team of landscapers to ensure the estate’s grounds are aesthetically pleasing and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform mowing, trimming, planting, hedge trimming, and gardening to maintain the estate’s outdoor spaces.- Identify and care for a variety of plants, ensuring proper health and growth.

- Order landscape supplies and manage inventory to support maintenance activities.

- Maintain and repair landscape equipment to ensure operational efficiency.

- Supervise, train, manage a team of landscapers, assigning tasks and ensuring quality work.

- Collaborate with the Facilities Manager to develop and implement grounds maintenance plans.

- Ensure compliance with safety standards and estate policies.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

- Proven knowledge of plant identification and horticultural practices.

- Experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, or a related field.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Clean background check required.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, climbing ladders, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Pay: $20 – $26+ (based on experience)
