Role Overview
We are looking for a hardworking and reliable individual to join our landscaping team for the upcoming season. This is a hands‑on, outdoor role that involves assisting crew members with daily tasks, including mowing, trimming, general property maintenance, and various landscaping projects.
While prior experience in the industry is a plus, it is not a requirement. We value candidates who are eager to learn, possess a strong work ethic, and take pride in their craftsmanship. You must be prepared for physically demanding work and capable of performing your duties in diverse weather conditions.
Core Responsibilities
- Cut grass for residential and commercial clients.
- Edge and weed‑whip lawns to ensure a clean finish.
- Prune bushes and shrubs.
- Clear leaves, grass clippings, and debris from driveways and walkways to improve site safety.
- Support the team with various property improvement and landscaping tasks.
- Execute general groundskeeping and cleanup duties.
- Complete seasonal spring and fall cleanup projects.
- Transport and move landscaping materials using rakes and shovels.
- Utilize hand tools such as rakes, shovels, and wheelbarrows.
- Load and unload necessary tools and materials for daily jobs.
- Provide support to senior crew members during daily operations.
- Help maintain a clean and organized job site for the entire team.
- Ensure all equipment is used correctly and maintained properly.
- Follow all directions provided by supervisors and crew leads.
- Help maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all equipment safety protocols.
- Complete other landscaping and lawn care tasks as requested.
Requirements
- Prior experience in lawn care, groundskeeping, or manual labor is beneficial but not required.
- Demonstrate punctuality and a strong commitment to your work.
- Show a genuine willingness to develop your landscaping skills.
- Follow instructions accurately to contribute to team success.
- Work independently once you have completed your training.

- Lift and move heavy landscaping equipment and materials as needed.
- Handle physically demanding outdoor tasks for extended shifts.
- Work is performed outdoors in changing weather and temperature conditions.
- This is a physically active role involving material handling and property maintenance.
- Expect daily use of power equipment, hand tools, and landscaping machinery.
- Hours fluctuate based on seasonal demands, weather, and workload.
- Anticipate longer workdays of 10–11 hours during the peak spring and fall cleanup periods.
- Mandatory use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
