Job summary

Aloha ‘Āina Landscaping in Hawaii is seeking a Landscape Laborer to help create and maintain outdoor spaces for clients. You will perform hands-on landscaping tasks and assist with construction activities as part of a collaborative team.

The role emphasizes reliability, strong work ethic, and the ability to work outdoors for extended periods. Candidates should be comfortable lifting heavy materials, operating equipment, and communicating effectively with clients and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license is required.
• Ability to operate landscaping equipment and tow with a trailer or small equipment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional, friendly, and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly.
• Ability to work outdoors for up to 8 hours, bending, kneeling and squatting.
• Self-motivated and able to work well both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform landscape labor such as hand digging, grading, moving soils and gravel, and operating landscaping machinery as needed.
• Assist with fence installations, concrete work, and irrigation system installation.
• Drive company vehicles to and from job sites.
• Follow assigned work schedules and complete tasks according to project specifications and company standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sweeping and organizing at the shop.
• Care for and safely handle company equipment, including ensuring proper oil and gas mixtures.
• Build positive relationships with clients and team members through professionalism and effective communication.
• Support the team and project goals by performing other duties as assigned.
