Candidates should have 2+ years in commercial landscape construction, be able to read maps/blueprints, understand OSHA requirements, and pass a pre-employment drug test and background check. Strong work ethic and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in commercial landscape construction.
• Read and interpret maps, blueprints, technical specs & manuals.
• General knowledge of OSHA standards and requirements.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn.
• Establish and maintain positive working relationships with those contacted in the performance of work.
• Dependability - follows instructions, commits to long hours if needed, completes tasks on time.

Responsibilities

• Install plants and irrigation systems on multifamily site from service point (backflow, valves, wires, pumps, fertilization systems).
• Perform landscaping duties as needed.
• Coordinate projects and work activities with co-workers, other divisions and contractors.
• Program and adjust irrigation controllers to maintain water-wise practices.
• Perform a variety of skilled tasks during installation.
• Interact daily with project site superintendent.
• Oversee installations per plans and specifications.
• Ensure daily maintenance of equipment.
• Communicate safety incidents to project site superintendent.
• Perform other duties as required.
