Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in irrigation installation or repair preferred.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems, controllers, valves, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and irrigation equipment safely.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems, including valves, sprinkler heads, drip systems, controllers, and piping.
• Diagnose irrigation issues and perform necessary troubleshooting and repairs.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure systems are operating efficiently and effectively.
• Adjust irrigation schedules and controllers based on seasonal and project needs.
• Assist with locating underground irrigation lines and components.
• Monitor water usage and identify opportunities for improved efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and service activities.
• Operate company vehicles, tools, and equipment safely and responsibly.
• Communicate with supervisors, project managers, and field staff regarding project status and repair needs.
• Ensure work is completed in compliance with company standards and safety requirements.
