ABOUT GRANITE HILLS GROUP

Granite Hills Group (GHG) is the newly-named landscaping company formed in 2021 by the merger of LandCare Innovations (Charlotte, NC), GroundWorks (Raleigh, NC), and Sodfather (Greenville‑Spartanburg, SC). Each branch has a landscape construction division and maintenance division and as such provides turnkey landscaping services from project groundbreaking through ongoing maintenance.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Granite Hills Group is seeking candidates for the position of Landscape Crew Member. We are seeking landscape crew members to add to our team in Charlotte, NC.

The requirements of the position are highlighted below.

Employees work in the field and should be prepared to work outdoors in varied weather, including rain and heat. The work is physically demanding, and employees must be able to lift at least 50 pounds, as well as stand, bend, kneel, and reach throughout the day. Experience is a plus, but not required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Positions are full‑time with typical workdays being Monday through Friday. Weekends may be required from time to time due to weather.

• Responsible for installing landscape plants, trees, mulch, pine needles, sod, and grading.
• Daily use of shovels, rakes, picks, blowers, weed eaters, edging equipment and grading.
• Helps team with daily work schedule for irrigation.
• Performs other duties as required and assigned.
• Must work outside in hot, cold, and other extreme weather conditions.
• Daily work schedule is 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 0–2 years of landscape install experience.
• Valid NCDL a plus.
• Must be able to use handheld equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work daily.
• Able to lift 80 lbs.
