The Davey Tree Expert Company is seeking a Landscape Install Crew Leader to manage and execute landscaping projects on-site in South Londonderry, VT. The role involves leading a crew of up to four, ensuring plans are followed, and maintaining clear communication with management and suppliers.

Responsibilities include reading construction plans, operating landscape equipment, and ensuring safety and quality in all tasks.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license; ability to obtain CDL or DOT medical card upon hire.
• Experience as a supervisor/crew leader/foreman in landscaping.
• Experience in landscape construction and hardscape work.
• Must complete Davey landscape career development books.
• Must complete Davey first aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire.
• Knowledge of materials, methods and skills for landscaping in the Northeast region.

Position Overview

Plans and executes landscaping operations and maintains grounds and landscape of private, governmental or business residences by performing the following duties.

Job Duties

• Be responsible and ensure landscape construction projects are installed properly and according to the plan.
• Learn the safe and proper way to work and direct a crew of up to four people
• Maintain open communication with management, suppliers and crew members
• Learn to read and interpret construction plans and maintain accurate records
• Drive, use, maintain and properly operate landscape equipment

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

• Love of the outdoors
• Required: Valid driver's license (Ability to get CDL or DOT med card upon hire)
• Required: Previous experience as a supervisor, crew leader, or foreman in a landscaping environment.
• Required: Experience in landscape construction, hardscape & related fields
• Ability to complete the Davey landscape career development books
• Ability to complete the Davey first aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire
• Knowledge of materials, methods, and skills related to landscaping in the Northeast region
