Job summary

HES is seeking a Groundskeeper to join our outdoor maintenance team in Winter Haven, FL. You will mow, edge, trim, prune, and maintain lawns and landscape features on school campuses and grounds. The role requires careful attention to safety, reliability, and teamwork in a dynamic outdoor environment.

Responsibilities include operating lawn care machinery, coordinating with the team, and supporting equipment maintenance. Optional daily pay and comprehensive benefits are offered where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school degree preferred.
• Experience in lawn care helpful.
• Must operate lawn care machinery including mowers, edgers, backpack blowers.
• Good communication skills and organizational skills; ability to prioritize tasks.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision; team player.
• Flexible schedule; capable of long shifts; outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Mow turf with various mowers and perform edging and trimming.
• Prune shrubs and trees; maintain beds and flower installations.
• Prepare trucks and load equipment; perform basic equipment maintenance.
• Assist with groundskeeping on properties and maintain clean, safe outdoor areas.
