Job summary

Charleston Area Medical Center is seeking a Groundskeeper for The Village at Heritage Point in Morgantown, WV. The role involves maintaining safe, attractive grounds, assisting the snow removal team, and backing up drivers as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous groundskeeping, landscaping and horticulture experience is required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Landscape Design and Maintenance: plants flowers, shrubs and trees; maintain beds; design landscapes aligned with site standards; inspect for diseased plants and recommend treatments; work with residents on garden preferences.
• Grounds Maintenance: mow, edge, sweep, and keep walkways and parking areas clean; report unusual conditions; ensure snow/ice removal per procedure.
• Performs Other Duties as Required: attend meetings, maintain knowledge, and participate in self-education.
