Everstory Partners in Barboursville, WV is seeking a Cemetery Groundskeeper to maintain grounds, install headstones, and ensure safety of visitors. The role emphasizes attention to detail, reliable service, and ability to operate maintenance equipment.

You will perform landscape duties, maintain equipment, assist with funeral services, and handle snow removal when needed; holiday/evening/weekend availability is required. The organization values compassion and customer focus in serving families.

Qualifications

• High School equivalency required.
• 2+ years experience in maintenance or related field.
• Ability to operate maintenance equipment and machinery.
• Ability to read and execute memos and directives from supervisor and/or management.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks with interruptions.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 80lbs.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• This position requires availability to work some holidays, evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performing all landscape maintenance duties such as weed-whacking, lawn mowing, etc.
• Maintaining equipment.
• All functions related to funeral services.
• Operating machinery appropriately in a safe manner.
• Installing or assisting in installing cemetery vaults.
• Installing headstones or memorials as needed.
• Handling the day-to-day general maintenance duties.
• Handling snow removal (if applicable).
• Performing other duties as assigned by the Grounds Superintendent.
