Job summary

Environmental Management Inc. (EMI) is seeking a Landscape Fleet & Equipment Mechanic in Plain City, OH. The role maintains, diagnoses, and repairs company vehicles, landscape and construction equipment to keep operations safe and efficient.

You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and keep accurate maintenance records under the Fleet Manager. EMI offers year-round, full-time work and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license is required.
Experience repairing and maintaining vehicles, trailers, and landscape equipment.
Knowledge of diesel and gasoline engines.
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems.
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance on company vehicles, trailers, and equipment.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and engine issues.
Complete fluid changes, filter replacements, tune-ups, brake and suspension work.
Inspect equipment and identify maintenance needs before failures.
Maintain repair and maintenance records.
Safely operate company vehicles and equipment.
Support field operations during peak seasons and emergencies.
Work extended hours, weekends, and in inclement weather when required.
