Job summary

Ruppert Landscape Co is looking for an Estimator to support our commercial landscape construction and management teams in Lilburn, GA. You will review plans, perform takeoffs, and prepare proposals ahead of bid deadlines.

You will collaborate with subcontractors and customers, define scopes of work, source quotes, and price using estimating software and MS Office. Entry-level to experienced candidates are welcome, with a family-oriented culture and solid benefits.

Qualifications

Experience with Estimating Software desired.
Ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organization and multi-tasking abilities.

Responsibilities

Manage estimating workflow to provide complete proposals before bid deadlines.
Assist customers with technical information and pricing during pre-construction.
Review plans and specifications to determine scope of work and best production methods.
Define scopes of work for trades and distribute subcontract bid packages.
Solicit quotes and review subcontractor quotes for each job.
Enter bid information into estimating software and MS Office suite.
Propose profit margins based on pricing guidelines.
Participate in pre-job and post-job meetings.
