Gabriel Group seeks an experienced Operator to support landscaping projects by operating heavy machinery. You will handle excavators, loaders, skid steers, and tractors, ensuring safety and quality on site.

Requirements include a high school diploma and valid driver's license; certification is a plus. You will work full-time in Kihei, Hawaii, with a focus on safety, maintenance, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience operating heavy machinery in landscaping or construction.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Certification or training in equipment operation preferred.
• Knowledge of safety guidelines and best practices for equipment operation.
• Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain heavy machinery and equipment on landscaping projects.
• Safely operate equipment such as excavators, loaders, skid steers, and tractors.
• Follow manufacturer instructions and safety guidelines.
• Perform pre- and post-operation equipment inspections.
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks including cleaning, greasing, and refueling.
• Prepare job sites, clear debris, level ground, and excavate as needed.
• Assist in installing hardscape features and drainage/irrigation infrastructure.
• Load, unload, transport materials and equipment to job sites.
• Ensure safe transportation of materials and maintain safe workflow.
• Adhere to safety protocols, report hazards, and follow supervisor guidance.
• Maintain records of equipment usage and maintenance; work collaboratively with team.
