Job summary

SiteOne Landscape Supply is seeking an Equipment Operator in Garner, NC to safely operate heavy equipment and move landscape materials. The role involves loading, unloading, and transporting mulch, soil, and supplies while maintaining equipment and following safety procedures.

Responsibilities include daily logging, basic inventory tasks, and supporting branch operations. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with 18+ years of age and ability to work in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience operating equipment such as front-end loaders, skid steers, track loaders, articulating loaders, rubber tire wheel loaders, and/or excavators.
• Knowledge of proper safety and maintenance protocols for the equipment mentioned.
• Must be able to frequently lift 50 pounds or more.
• Must be capable of working in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, snow, rain).
• Experience in the landscape, hardscape, forestry, nursery, or irrigation industry is a plus.
• Ability to read and write to record daily logs and maintain daily equipment checklists.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Operate all assigned equipment safely and proficiently.
• Clean and maintain equipment as scheduled.
• Advise branch leadership of maintenance/repair requirements.
• Assist with receiving materials, inventory, order processing/fulfillment, and other general labor tasks.
