Job summary

SiteOne Landscape Supply in Middletown, RI is seeking an Equipment Operator to load, offload, and transport landscape materials such as mulch, soil, and amendments using front-end loaders, skid steers, excavators, and related equipment.

The role emphasizes safety, equipment upkeep, and collaboration with branch leadership, with duties including material receiving, inventory, order processing, and general labor tasks as needed. Must be 18+, high school diploma, and able to lift 50+ pounds.

Qualifications

• Experience operating equipment such as front-end loaders, skid steers, track loaders, articulating loaders, rubber tire wheel loaders, and/or excavators.
• Knowledge of proper safety and maintenance protocols for equipment.
• Must be able to frequently lift 50 pounds or more.
• Capable of working in extreme weather conditions.
• Experience in landscape, hardscape, nursery, or irrigation industry is a plus.
• Ability to read and write daily logs and maintain equipment checklists.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment such as front-end loaders, skid steers, track loaders, articulating loaders, rubber tire wheel loaders, and excavators in a safe manner.
• Clean and maintain equipment as scheduled.
• Advise branch leadership on maintenance/repairs needs.
• Assist with receiving materials, inventory, order processing, and other general labor tasks.
