Job summary

BrightView is seeking a Landscape Development Intern on Johns Island, SC for a hands-on rotational program. You’ll work with landscape and safety tasks, assist with estimating takeoffs, and coordinate projects with a Project Manager.

You are pursuing a bachelor’s or associate degree in Horticulture or related fields (Landscape Architecture, Construction, Plant Science). Strong communication, multitasking, and MS Office skills are helpful as you grow on a best-in-class team.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's or associate degree in Horticulture or related field.
• Effective oral and written communication.
• Ability to prioritise and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Excel and Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Landscape and Safety – Proper handling and installation of plant materials and irrigation as well as general site safety and safe operation of equipment
• Estimating – Gathering, calculating and compiling take off data and assembling bid proposal estimates
• Project Coordination – Working with a Project Manager, manage document control including change orders, billings, field production tracking, purchasing documentation and contract administration
