Job summary

Perkins+Will Atlanta Studio is seeking a Landscape Designer I to join our design-focused team. You will contribute to site solutions, prepare contract documents, and communicate ideas graphically and verbally across disciplines.

We value 1–3+ years of experience, a Bachelor’s in landscape architecture (Masters preferred), and a collaborative mindset. This on-site role offers opportunities across campuses, waterfront parks, botanical gardens, and complex urban projects, with mentoring and growth

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture is required.
1–3+ years of experience in landscape design.
Licensure not required.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the overall success of the team by adhering to firm and project goals and standards of excellence in landscape design, execution, and living design.
Prepares contract documents including hardscape and landscape plans, details, sections, elevations, and schedules.
Conceptualizes across a broad range of scales and project types, from university campuses to dense urban environments at a planning level through detailed site design level.
Exhibits strong conceptual thinking with an ability to communicate ideas both graphically and verbally.
Displays a strong work ethic and desire to learn new skills in support of a growing landscape architecture practice.
