About Our Search

Our Baltimore office is looking for a strong entry-level Landscape Designer to join the Landscape Architecture Market Sector. Our next team member will have excellent communication, design, graphic and visualization skills. This individual will manage, organize and coordinate with the design and technical project teams throughout the design process to successfully execute architectural projects.

About Our Market Sector

Our award-winning Landscape Architecture team works with a diverse clientele across the United States on a rich variety of project types including parks, recreational facilities, educational campuses, housing/mixed-use neighborhoods, senior living communities and healthcare environments.

About The Position

• Create site analysis diagrams and graphics.
• Prepare site plans and 3D renderings and assist in developing design presentations.
• Produce construction documents and assist with red-lines.
• Assist in generating design solutions and design development.
• Assist with construction administration/observation and other project related tasks.
• Collaborate with project consultants and clients to facilitate the design process.

About You

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture required.
• 0-3 years of experience in a Landscape Architecture practice.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, SketchUp, Lumion, Enscape or other 3D presentation software is a must; familiarity with Revit is a plus.
• Experience in conceptualizing and developing design presentation graphics.
• Experience and/or strong interest in construction detailing and preparation of construction documents.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced practice.
• Ability and willingness to work in a collaborative environment and a strong work ethic are encouraged.

The projected base salary for this full-time position is $63,000-$68,000. Hord Coplan Macht’s salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, as well as the individual’s education, experience, and skillsets. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of HCM’s total compensation package for employees.
