Job summary

Gothic Landscape in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Landscape Designer to transform ideas into stunning outdoor environments, collaborating with a team to bring designs to life.

You will create plans, renderings, and 3D imagery; work with internal teams to ensure feasibility; and help with project handoff to contractors while staying current with trends and sustainable practices to elevate outdoor living.

Qualifications

• Experience in landscape design or landscape architecture.
• Ability to translate client ideas into buildable designs.
• Experience collaborating in a team.
• Proficiency with design tools, especially AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of plant materials, irrigation, and hardscape design.
• Excellent communication and time management.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

Design Inspiring Outdoor Spaces

• Create innovative and functional landscape designs for clientele
• Develop conceptual plans, layouts, planting plans, and hardscape designs

Bring Designs to Life

• Produce detailed design drawings, renderings, and 3D imagery (as applicable)
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure designs are feasible and aligned with project goals
• Support project handoff to construction teams when designs move into implementation

Stay Inspired

• Keep up with landscape design trends, materials, and sustainable practices
• Bring fresh ideas that enhance outdoor living and elevate the client’s experience

What You Bring

• Experience in landscape design, landscape architecture, or related field
• Strong ability to translate client ideas into creative, buildable designs
• Experience working in a team environment, collaborating for a common goal
• Proficiency in design tools - AutoCAD is a must
• Knowledge of plant materials, irrigation concepts, and hardscape design preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

Bonus Points

• Residential landscape design experience
• Degree in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design, Horticulture, or related field
• Experience with 3D renderings or visual design presentations
• Knowledge of Arizona plant palettes and climate considerations

• Annualized Base Salary: Starting at $50,000 - $55,000 based on experience
