Job summary

Dekker is seeking landscape designers to join our team to contribute to a variety of landscape projects across Healthcare, Multifamily Housing, Federal Government, Commercial, and Education sectors. This hybrid role requires living in the Albuquerque area and includes collaboration with multiple studios and clients, with a focus on design excellence and innovation.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in landscape architectural planning and design or equivalent education.
• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or equivalent.
• Design-specific credentials are highly valued: SITES AP or LEED AP is a plus
• Applicants must live in the Albuquerque, NM metro area and work in a hybrid environment (3 days onsite).

This position offers the opportunity to assist in the production of a wide variety of landscape projects across various studios including Healthcare, Multifamily Housing, Federal Government, Commercial, and/or Education (K-12 & Higher Ed). As passionate and self-driven team members at Dekker, candidates would play a key role in creating inspired experiences for everyone they interact with backed by support of a firm that has been a staple in the industry for 60 years.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment
• Strong graphic communicator - hand sketching, AutoCAD, Land F/X, SketchUp and Adobe Suite are essential. ArcGIS and Bluebeam and Revit are a plus
