Smith Lawnscapes LLC, a family-oriented landscape construction and maintenance company in Michigan, is seeking a dependable Landscape Crew Member to join our dedicated team. You will assist with landscape installations and help maintain lawns, beds, trees, and plants.

You will operate hand tools and power equipment, perform daily inspections and basic maintenance, load materials, and follow safety procedures while delivering quality work on outdoor spaces.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of landscaping or general labor experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Capable of operating the required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Able to work independently and as part of a crew.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs., bend, kneel, and perform physical labor.
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in various weather conditions.
• Strong communication, time management, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Crew Leaders with landscape installations
• Operate various hand tools and equipment, power tools, and equipment
• Perform daily inspections, cleaning, and basic maintenance of equipment
• Plant and maintain lawns, landscape beds, trees, and plants
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment required to complete landscape construction projects
• Follow company quality standards and all safety procedures
• Help keep jobsites clean, organized, and professional
