Smith Lawnscapes LLC in Michigan is seeking a dependable General Laborer to join our family-oriented landscape construction and maintenance team.

You will prepare job sites, assist with patios, walkways, walls, fences and decks, lift materials, and operate hand and power tools. The role requires physical stamina and a safety-first attitude. We offer competitive pay and growth opportunities within the company.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Landscaping or construction experience is a plus.
• Willing and able to learn new tools, equipment and skills.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, bend, kneel, and perform physical labor.
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in various weather conditions.
• Dependable with good communication and time-management skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Prepare jobsites for landscape and construction projects.
• Assist with patios, walkways, retaining walls, fences, decks & other projects.
• Dig trenches, perform land clearing and prepare landscape areas.
• Plant and maintain lawns and garden beds.
• Load, unload and transport materials, tools and equipment.
• Safely operate hand and power tools.
• Perform basic daily equipment inspections, cleaning and maintenance.
• Assist Crew Leaders with daily project needs.
• Read and follow basic plans, measurements and project specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe jobsite.
