Job summary

Sommer Lawn & Landscape is seeking dedicated crew members to maintain and beautify residential and business lawns in Overland Park and surrounding areas. You will perform mowing, edging, trimming, and debris removal while learning the landscaping trade and growing with a small, fast-growing company.

We offer pay-for-performance potential with your base hourly rate, and top performers can earn substantial bonuses as you build client routes and skills.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation to our shop in South KC MO.
• Valid driver’s license (you'll be driving trucks with trailers).
• Able to do hard physical work outdoors in Kansas heat.
• Show up on time, everyday. This is the #1 requirement.
• No lawncare experience needed—we have a full training program. Capability matters more to us!

Responsibilities

• Mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing residential lawns in Johnson County (mostly North Overland Park, Prairie Village area).
• Seasonal services: leaf removal, mulch, yard cleanups, and snow removal.
• Operating commercial stand-on mowers and other equipment (we train you).

What Makes This Job Different

We use a pay-for-performance system where you can earn up to 20% of the revenue you generate. Work efficiently, go home earlier, and make more per hour. Our top performers earn $25-35/hr. You are still guaranteed your base hourly rate at a minimum.

• Jobs/Routes: Accurate, complete check-in/out data - fewer than 2 errors per week
