Job summary

JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for preparing and maintaining landscape areas per contract specifications.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Mow grass using power mowers.
• Trim and edge using power weed eater.
• Water lawns, trees, and plants using portable sprinkler system, hose.
• Haul and/or spread topsoil, mulch, straw or pea gravel in lawns or beds.
• Pick up trash and debris by hand or using a poker stick, rake or broom. Bag and dispose of trash.
• Operate blower to clean sidewalks and driveway.
• Clear beds for planting and mulching. Perform additional labor as needed for special projects or improvements.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience: Preferred, but not required; training will be provided if needed.

Attendance: Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance as determined in the employer's sole discretion.

Licenses: None required. Valid Driver's License a plus.

Vehicle: None required. Must be able to get to and from work as scheduled.

Other: Must be available and willing to work assigned schedules. Must not pose a direct threat or significant risk of substantial harm to safety or health. Ability to pass background checks may be needed depending on contract.
