Job summary

Bemus Landscape in Riverside, CA is seeking a Crew Leader to supervise the landscape crew on assigned properties. You will train, assign tasks, and ensure safe, efficient completion of mowing, pruning, edging, and related maintenance; you’ll also transport crew and equipment to job sites daily and communicate with customers on-site.

Candidates should have strong gardening skills, a valid California Class C driver's license, and a proven work ethic.

• Ability to effectively understand and communicate with customers, managers, and crew members.

Responsibilities

• Lead a crew. Assign tasks and direct work within scope and time for jobs. Train, supervise, and assist crew members in horticultural practices and techniques.
• Transport crew and equipment to job sites daily.
• Routinely communicate with customers on-site to ascertain priorities and inform about maintenance tasks.
• Perform landscape maintenance duties (mowing, edging, pruning, weeding, blowing, raking, applying pesticides) and maintain equipment safely.
