Job summary

GroundSystems, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Crew Leader in Dayton, Ohio to manage a small 1–4 person crew and ensure quality, safety, and efficiency on landscaping enhancement projects. This role blends fieldwork with leadership to deliver high quality service and steady team growth.

You will mentor crew, perform duties such as mowing, pruning, planting, equipment operation, and site supervision in all weather. A valid driver's license and reliable outdoor work ethic are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 20 years old.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience in landscaping or groundskeeping preferred.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily landscaping operations and ensure project standards.
• Train and supervise crew members (1–4 people).
• Maintain safety and efficiency at the worksite.
• Operate landscaping equipment and assist with truck/trailer tasks.
