Job summary

David J. Frank Landscape is seeking full-time Landscape Specialty, Herbicide/Fertilizer (H/T), Renovation and Mowing Crew Leaders for our Germantown branch. Qualifications

• Lead landscape crews with a focus on client satisfaction and quality.
• Possess pesticide applicator license and safe operating practices.
• Willingness to learn and improve processes; safety-focused.

Responsibilities

• Train, develop, manage, review, motivate, and direct a crew of technicians.
• Mow and trim lawns; deliver spring clean-up services.
• Apply fertilizer and pesticides as needed; renovation of landscapes.
• Install drainage systems, nightscape, seed, sod, walls and pavers.
• Shape shrubs/trees; perform seeding, sodding, hydro-mulching.
• Conduct spring/fall cleanups and snow removal in winter.

We are currently seeking full-time Landscape Specialty, Herbicide/Fertilizer (H/T), Renovation and Mowing Crew Leaders for our Landscape Maintenance Department (LMD) through our Germantown branch location. During the winter we do snow removal, training, and complete maintenance projects.

Qualifications

• Crew Leaders haveminimum of one year experience in the production field leading landscape technicians whileensuring client satisfaction with quality outcomes (pro-rated with advanced education)
• Herbicide and Fertilizer (H/T)Crew Leaders possess and maintain Wisconsin Pesticide Applicator's License (Category 3.0).
• Willingness to learn and improve processes
• Commitment to safety
• Strongplantidentificationskills(annuals,perennials,trees,shrubs) preferred
• Two or four-year degree from an accredited college/university in Horticulture or related fieldis preferred.
• Bilingual - proficient/fluent in Spanish is a plus.
• Possess and maintain valid non-probationarydriver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR) is required.
• Able to successfully complete a preplacement physical (to include lifting 50 pounds) and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Crew Leaders train, develop, manage, review, motivate, and direct a crew of technicians and laborers.
• Mowing Crew Leaders maintain lawns through mowing and trimming.
• Specialty Crew Leaders deliver spring clean-up services, including perennial care and removal of winter protection.
• Herbicide and Fertilizer Crew Leaders apply fertilizer and pesticides as needed.
• Renovation Crew Leaders install new landscapes and landscape renovations such asdrainage systems, nightscape systems, seed and sod, retaining walls, and pavers.
• Shape and prune shrubs, bushes, and trees.
• Perform seeding, sodding, and hydro-mulching tasks.
• Conduct spring and fall cleanups.
• Remove snow and ice during winter.

Compensation

• Weekly pay(compensation is based on LMDcrew leadersupervisory and production experience for levels I - III).
