Job summary

LMC is seeking Landscape Crew & Drivers in Houston, TX to provide lawn care and maintenance for commercial clients. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen. Positions are full-time, benefit eligible, and require a commitment to quality service.

Lawn Management Company (LMC) is searching for Landscape Crew & Drivers to perform a variety of lawn care maintenance and enhancement services for our commercial clients in Central Houston! Our Drivers must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record and be able to pass a pre‑employment drug screen. These positions are full‑time and benefit eligible and are paid weekly. We are looking for candidates who want a long‑term career and we are ready to invest in their growth!

Responsibilities

• Mowing lawns using push and riding mowers
• Trimming and edging using gas powered trimmers
• Hand pulling weeds
• Picking up trash and yard debris
• Perform installation of plants, shrubs, flowers, mulch, sod, irrigation components, drainage systems, and hardscape features, etc
• Operating backpack blower to blow leaves and/or grass clippings
• Drivers Only: Driving company vehicle to and from work sites with crew members
• Other responsibilities as directed

Qualifications

• 1 year of landscape/lawn care experience is preferred; open to training!
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Drivers Only: Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record and ability to pass pre‑employment background and drug screening; must be at least 21 years of age
• Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in landscaping.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions

Certified Arborists

LMC is seeking qualified Certified Arborists with BS degrees in forestry, urban forestry, or related fields of study. Climbers

Climbs large trees to perform pruning, trimming and removal. May also be required to prune shrubs and small trees. Must demonstrate superior abilities in all aspects of the job. Must be capable of working without supervision when necessary. This position requires a minimum of one to two years of field experience and good knowledge of tree trimming. Field Manager

Supervises maintenance crews and corresponding commercial properties. Reports to the Branch Manager regarding scheduling; production, safety, capital assets, fleet management. Assists the Branch Manager with estimating new business. Assists with training and coaching crew members as well as conduct performance evaluations, hiring, and disciplinary actions.
