Job summary

Tender Lawn Care, a family-owned landscape management and snowplowing contractor in West Michigan, is seeking a foreman to lead a small crew on residential and commercial sites. The role covers installations, renovations, planting, grading, and seasonal cleanups.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years as a foreman in landscaping, a valid license, reliable driving record, and the ability to work in all weather. CDL is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience as a Foreman in the Landscaping Industry
• Willing to lift 50 pounds repeatedly
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and temperatures

Responsibilities

• Installations and renovations
• Oversee, train, and manage a crew of 1–3 people
• Plants, trees, patios, walls, and drainage systems
• Setting grades and Spring/Fall cleanups
• Pruning and mulch applications

Job description

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• 7:30 am to 5:30 pm
• Occasional Saturdays and overtime as required

Job Duties

• Installations
• Renovations
• Plants, trees, patios, retaining walls and drainage systems
• Setting grades
• Spring and fall cleanups
• Applying mulch
• Pruning
• Oversee, train, and manage a crew of one to three people

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience as a Foreman in the Landscaping Industry (if applying for crew lead)
• Valid driver's license
• Clean driving record
• CDL preferred but not required
• Ability to lift 50 pounds repetitively over the course of the day
• Must be willing and able to work in all weather conditions and temperatures
• Extensive plant knowledge or a degree in horticulture is a plus
