Job summary

Hoerr Schaudt Landscape Architects is seeking a landscape construction project assistant to support Midwest projects. You will aid project managers with material/vendor research, CAD edits, plant procurement, tagging and coordination with contractors.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in landscape construction or PM roles, strong teamwork, and a proactive approach to problem solving. Some travel is expected during weekdays.

Qualifications

• Highly proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Sketch-up and Microsoft Office
• Excellent organizational and task management skills, including the ability to change tasks quickly
• Excellent attitude and ability to work well within a team
• Expert in creative problem-solving

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers with material and vendor research
• Perform AutoCAD drawing edits
• Procure and tag plant materials
• Handle contractor correspondence and project coordination
• Contribute to project scope takeoffs
