Job summary

Mariani Enterprises, LLC is seeking a Landscape Construction Paver Field Crew Lead in Venice, FL. The role involves leading a crew to install and repair pavers, bricks, and tile on driveways, walls, and other structures, while ensuring safety and quality on outdoor sites.

You will prep sites, compact bases, and lay pavers according to plans, supervise team members, and coordinate with management and clients during projects. A strong reading of blueprints and a valid Driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of paver installation and repair experience.
• Previous crew leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Lead and organize work crew to install and maintain pavers, bricks, and tile.
• Prepare and excavate sites according to plans.
• Compact base and place sand; establish starting square and lay pavers.
• Cut and install pavers; finish layout and edges.

Successful candidates will lead by example, working outdoors alongside their team to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. ### Why Join Our Team? **Weekend Bonus Opportunities** – Earn extra pay when you volunteer for available weekend shifts. **Sign-On Bonus** – Paid out in installments during your first six months with the company. **Hands-On Leadership Role** – Take charge, build great landscapes, and make a visible impact every day. **Summary**The Paver Installer Crew Lead leads and organizes work crew to install and maintain building materials such as pavers, brick, and structural tile to construct or repair driveways, walls, and other structures; smoothing and finishing surfaces of poured concrete fountain molds, floors, walls, sidewalks, or curbs to specified textures; installing pumps, electrical and piping equipment for fountains by performing the following duties: **Essential Duties and Responsibilities*** Prepares, measures, and excavates site for construction or repair of pavers, bricks, tile and concrete for walkways, curbs, driveways, patios, fountains and other structures according to plans* Prepares ground base by compacting calculated depth or crushed stone or incorporating and tilling cement with soil, mechanically vibrating the aggregate base for compaction and assures base slopes according to plan.* Applies and screeds sand at selected height over compacted base according to plans.* Establishes starting square, lays pavers, bricks and tile and minimizes gaps with tapping according to plan.* Prepares, cuts and installs pavers, bricks and tile where needed.* Retrains edges of finished layout with selected materials.* Communicate effectively with management, clients, and team members* Enforce company safety policies and ensure proper use of PPE* Operate company vehicles, trailers, and equipment safely **Qualifications*** 3+ years of paver installation and repair experience* Previous crew leadership or supervisory experience preferred* Ability to read blueprints* Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record* Strong communication and organizational skills* Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions* Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly **Work Schedule*** Full-time position* Overtime and weekend work may be required during peak seasonPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
