Job summary

BrightView Landscapes, LLC is seeking a General Construction Worker 2 to support landscape and irrigation tasks in the San Diego area. The role involves using hand and power tools, laying sod, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, and installing sprinklers.

Candidates should be prepared to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, meet safety standards, and possibly operate BrightView fleet vehicles with a valid license where required. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• 6 months landscape experience preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of OSHA Standards.
• Bilingual (Spanish).
• Use hand equipment with mechanized moving blades such as gas-powered shears.
• Use manual hand tools such as shovels.

Responsibilities

• Use hand and/or power tools or equipment to perform a wide range of landscape and irrigation duties.
• Lay sod.
• Plant.
• Water.
• Fertilize.
• Dig.
• Rake.
• Install sprinklers.
• Safeguard assets from theft and misuse.
• Installing mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units.
• Ensure segregation of duties to minimize fraud.
• Comply with business ethics, applicable laws, and regulation.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Periodically reconcile physical assets to accounting records.
