WHAT WE'RE OFFERING

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00/hour (based on experience/qualifications)

THE LANDSCAPE CONSTRUCTION FOREMAN WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 5+ years of landscape construction experience
• 2+ years of experience in a foreman, lead installer, or crew leadership position
• High-end residential landscape construction experience
• Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills
• Ability to accurately read and follow plans, measurements, layouts, and construction details
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in various conditions/temperatures

A valid driver's license and a clean driving record would be preferred. Experience with landscape features/responsibilities like paver installation, concrete forming, drainage systems, irrigation systems, retaining walls, grading, etc. would be ideal. Experience operating compact equipment (skid steers, mini excavators, trenchers, etc.) would also be helpful. Experience collaborating with designers, project managers, subcontractors, and homeowners would be ideal. Familiarity with the Bay Area's construction suppliers, materials, and job site challenges would also be preferred.

LANDSCAPE CONSTRUCTION FOREMAN RESPONSIBILITIES

You’ll lead a field team in completing exceptional work and oversee the vital project aspects to ensure smooth, accurate completion. This role also coordinates with project managers, designers, estimators, and the owners throughout the job to answer any questions and provide updates on the progress or any roadblocks.

Every day, you’ll give your crew goals to meet to keep the job on schedule. You’ll review layouts, technical drawings, and project scopes to understand the vision and make sure the crew’s work meets the plans. Throughout each job, you’ll track the labor, materials, and equipment used. If any problems come up, you’ll quickly jump in to resolve the issue and get the job back on track.
